The origin of Swirls
The lines found in Swirls don’t come from nowhere: they’ve been with Coco since she was very little. From a young age, she began drawing these abstract, curved shapes during moments of anxiety. Back then, she didn’t know how to explain what she was feeling. These drawings became her way of showing what was in her mind—a mix of emotions and thoughts.
Over time, these lines became her signature. They appear in all her creations. Their fluid, free movement naturally inspired the name Swirls, a word that truly reflects the spirit of the brand: original, creative, and full of emotion.
Her illustrations, on the other hand, come directly from her dreams. Coco has a vivid imagination and often dreams of surreal, colorful, and slightly eccentric characters. These ideas come to life in her designs, making each piece unique and personal.
I’m Coco
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My parents say I was drawing even before I could talk—that’s how natural it is for me! I’ve always been a little different, and so have my drawings.
At 7 years old, making strange drawings is cute… but you don’t start a business at that age. It was at 18 that I decided to bring my dream to life and create Swirls, my brand inspired by my unique and vibrant style.
Today, I’m 21, and I’m proud to see this project grow every day—with passion, creativity, and lots of love.
